- Medical Billing Office Expands in County
The Hernando County Office of Business Development is pleased to
announce that HealthSouth National Home Health Central Billing Office
(HSCBO) has decided to expand its billing operations center by leasing a
3,500sf building at the Hernando County Airport Industrial Park.
HSCBO is the medical billing division of HealthSouth Corporation. With 25
home health locations throughout the nation, HSCBO Brooksville works
directly with insurance carriers to provide patient billing services. HSCBO
currently employs 10 full time workers and plans to expand its workforce
over the next 18 months.
HSCBO plans to occupy the County owned facility at 16110 Aviation Loop
Drive, formerly the Airport and Veteran’s Administration office, in early
June 2009. The Board of County Commissioners will consider this building
lease at their meeting on April 28, 2009.
